Best Practices:

  • The recommended number of people in Deal Rooms is 7-10

  • Invite teams as your deal progresses: For instance /invite @Legal [Contact #1] once the order form has been spun up or /invite @Finance when discussing deal approvals

  • Share all deal docs in the channel, quickly access them by pressing “Docs

  • Review key features below and start using them

Why it’s important?

  • Reduce email overload and multiple threads where info gets lost or people may be left off

  • Quick access to available key info on opportunities and documents shared

  • Help keep everyone involved in the deal and the conversations in one place (@mention and call out folks real-time - get things done faster, discuss next steps)

  • Fewer meetings, spend time strategically vs. tactically
