Outreach is a platform for Sales/Business development reps to track, manage and mature prospects. Outreach users live at the high-end of the sales funnel just below marketing: prospects either come inbound through an integration (BDRs) or via outbound prospecting (SDRs). Outreach is used to track and help push their progress through the stages with the help of motion sequences, analytics, and third-party tools integrated with the Outreach platform. One a prospect has reached a certain stage they are typically then handed off to a full CRM such as Salesforce or Dynamics. Outreach is, in essence, a mini-CRM solely focused on early stage prospects and more devoted to high account volumes and data/number driven progression rather than later-stage sales techniques.
